Introduction: Student can be stressed due to different stressors such as academic, financial, health related or loss of close family member or friend, etc. Stress is the bodies’ reaction both neurologically and physiologically to adapt to the new condition. Stress has a negative effect on the academic performance of the students. This study was aimed to explore the stress and stressors and also to determine the association between stress levels and the academic performances in terms of cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of undergraduate medical students. Methods: It was a cross-sectional study conducted among all 234 year-4 medical students of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), session 2011-2012. Sample size comprised of 179 students after fulfilling all inclusion and exclusion criteria. A validated Medical Students’ Stressor Questionnaire (MSSQ) was used to collect the data. Stress level and its association with CGPA of semester-1 examination were analysed. Results: Response rate was 76.49%, where 72% were female and 69% resided in the hostel. Academic Related and Social-related Stressors caused for severe and high stress in 84% and 49% respondents respectively, with insignificant differences between gender and residency. Respondents with a high and severe stress level were observed to have higher CGPA. Conclusion: UKM medical students are highly resourceful to manage their stress well and thus denying the negative effect of stress towards their academic performance. Medical schools should train students exposing various personal and professional developmental activities that able to face the everyday challenges and manage stress well and thereby achieve better academic performance.

With the increasing popularity of e-commerce live streaming, understanding purchase intentions for cultural heritage products in this context is crucial, prompting the analysis based on the ABC attitude theory. This study investigates how creative products of intangible cultural heritage influence consumers' purchase intentions within the framework of e-commerce live streaming. It further explores the mediating influence of consumer satisfaction in this association, utilizing the ABC attitude theory. The research design encompasses dimensions related to creative products of intangible cultural heritage, e-customer satisfaction, and purchase intention. Confirmatory factor analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) are utilized to examine the research hypotheses. The study reveals that perceived product quality, perceived interactivity, and professionalism among streamer factors, as well as perceived entertainment among scene factors, positively influence consumer satisfaction. Additionally, intangible cultural heritage has a positive effect on consumers' purchase intention toward creative products of intangible cultural heritage. Furthermore, consumer satisfaction serves as a mediating factor in the relationship between perceived product quality, perceived professionalism and interactivity, perceived entertainment, and consumers' purchase intention. This study is limited to creative products of intangible cultural heritage and involved a relatively small sample size. Moreover, certain perceptual dimensions of e-commerce live streaming were excluded from the analysis. Originality/value - This study contributes to the existing literature on the ABC theory by developing a model that examines consumer satisfaction and purchase intention. The model employed in this study integrates perceptual dimensions pertaining to creative products of intangible cultural heritage within the framework of e-commerce live streaming, utilizing the ABC theory. Additionally, this research contributes to addressing a gap in the existing literature by specifically focusing on the category of creative products of intangible cultural heritage within the broader discourse on dimensions in e-commerce live streaming. Thus, this study presents numerous diverse perspectives that can serve as a basis for further research into the integration of e-commerce live streaming and cultural and creative products associated with intangible cultural heritage.

The importance of CSR in today's business environment cannot be ignored, especially more and more enterprises realize that when consumers perceive CSR, it will affect consumer behavior and then affect corporate efficiency and reputation. With the widespread application of social media, corporate social responsibility behaviors are easy to be participated and discussed by consumers on the Internet, forming electronic word-of-mouth. Therefore, this paper discusses the influence of electronic word-of-mouth between CSR and consumer satisfaction, taking China's largest Internet enterprise Tencent and its consumers and users as the research object. The overall purpose of this study is to explore the mediating role of electronic word-of-mouth in CSR and consumer satisfaction. This study uses Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory as the theoretical framework to explain the relationship between CSR initiatives, eWOM and consumer satisfaction. Using the quantitative method of questionnaire survey, taking China's enterprise Tencent as an example, a total of 490 valid questionnaires from Tencent WeChat users from four different levels of cities were received. The PLS-SEM model was used to deeply study the impact of CSR on consumer satisfaction and electronic word-of-mouth. The study found that philanthropic responsibility has a significant impact on consumer satisfaction, but environmental responsibility has no significant impact on satisfaction. At the same time, electronic word-of-mouth plays a key mediating role between the dimension of charitable responsibility and consumer satisfaction, but there is no mediating relationship between the dimension of environmental responsibility and consumer satisfaction. This study is beneficial to other enterprises in the formulation and planning of social responsibility, helps enterprises better understand consumer demands under different CSR dimensions, and provides a useful reference for the formulation of more accurate CSR strategies.

Rapidly growing, non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) in the Mycobacterium abscessus (MAB) species are emerging pathogens that cause various diseases including skin and respiratory infections. The species has undergone recent taxonomic nomenclature refinement, and is currently recognized as two subspecies, M. abscessus subsp. abscessus (MAB-A) and M. abscessus subsp. bolletii (MAB-B). The recently reported outbreaks of MAB-B in surgical patients in Brazil from 2004 to 2009 and in cystic fibrosis patients in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2006 to 2012 underscore the need to investigate the genetic diversity of clinical MAB strains. To this end, we sequenced the genomes of two Brazilian MAB-B epidemic isolates (CRM-0019 and CRM-0020) derived from an outbreak of skin infections in Rio de Janeiro, two unrelated MAB strains from patients with pulmonary infections in the United States (US) (NJH8 and NJH11) and one type MAB-B strain (CCUG 48898) and compared them to 25 publically available genomes of globally diverse MAB strains. Genome-wide analyses of 27,598 core genome single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) revealed that the two Brazilian derived CRM strains are nearly indistinguishable from one another and are more closely related to UK outbreak isolates infecting CF patients than to strains from the US, Malaysia or France. Comparative genomic analyses of six closely related outbreak strains revealed geographic-specific large-scale insertion/deletion variation that corresponds to bacteriophage insertions and recombination hotspots. Our study integrates new genome sequence data with existing genomic information to explore the global diversity of infectious M. abscessus isolates and to compare clinically relevant outbreak strains from different continents.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate immediate oxytocin and early amniotomy compared with delayed amniotomy after Foley catheter cervical ripening in nulliparous women on intervention-to-delivery interval.

METHODS: A randomized trial was conducted from September 2020 to March 2021. A total of 140 term nulliparas (70 early amniotomy, 70 delayed amniotomy) with Foley catheter-ripened cervices (dilatation ≥3 cm achieved), singleton fetus, cephalic presentation with intact membranes, and reassuring fetal heart rate tracing were recruited. Women were randomized to immediate titrated intravenous oxytocin infusion and early amniotomy or delayed amniotomy (after 4 h of oxytocin). The primary outcome was intervention (oxytocin)-to-delivery interval (h).

    RESULTS: Intervention-to-delivery intervals (h) were mean ± standard deviation 9.0 ± 3.6 versus 10.6 ± 3.5 h (mean difference of 1.4 h) (P = 0.004) for the early versus delayed amniotomy arms, respectively. Birth rates at 6 h after oxytocin infusion were 19 of 70 (27.1%) versus 8 of 70 (11.4%) (relative risk, 2.38 [95% confidence interval (CI), 1.11-5.06]; number needed to treat: 7 [95% CI, 3.5-34.4]) (P = 0.03), cesarean delivery rates were 29 of 70 (41.4%) versus 33 of 70 (47.1%) (relative risk, 0.88; 95% CI, 0.61-1.28) (P = 0.50), and maternal satisfaction on birth process were a median of 7 (interquartile range, 7-8) versus 7 (interquartile range, 7-8) (P = 0.40) for the early versus delayed amniotomy arms, respectively.

CONCLUSION: In term nulliparas with cervices ripened by Foley catheter, immediate oxytocin and early amniotomy compared with a planned 4-h delay to amniotomy shortened the intervention-to-delivery interval but did not significantly reduce the cesarean delivery rate.
